We’re so excited to welcome you and your group to the flower field for a private experience on our family farm. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, planning a girls' night, or simply want a peaceful evening among the blooms, we’d love to host you.

Here’s everything you need to know before booking your private event:

 

Event Timing

Private You-Picks are offered in two-hour blocks during the following times:

• Monday–Thursday evenings: 6:30–8:30 PM

• Fridays: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Saturdays: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM

Need a different time (like a weekday lunch hour)? We can usually make it work! However, off-hour events may require a $100 setup fee to help cover the extra coordination and time away from our off-farm jobs.

 

Pricing & What’s Included

• $30 per person (picker)

• We usually prefer groups of around 10 people.

• Each guest will receive a You-Pick cup to fill with their own bouquet.

• Includes a guided tour of the flower field and a harvest demonstration.

• Your group will have exclusive access to the flower field for your entire time block.

 

Food, Drink & Amenities

• You are welcome to bring snacks, treats, or a picnic meal to enjoy in our designated seating area.

• Alcohol is not allowed on the premises, in accordance with our insurance policy.

• We have a picnic/seating area available for use during your event.

 

Directions & Parking

• We’re located just outside of Garretson, SD.

• The route is fully paved except for our short gravel driveway.

• Parking is available in a grassy lot near the field.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book a morning or mid-day private event?

Yes, but please note mid-day heat can reduce the vase life of your flowers. Morning or evening cuts are gentler on blooms. A $100 setup fee may apply to events outside our standard schedule.

What if it rains?

In case of inclement weather, we’re happy to work with you to reschedule your private pick for another available time.

Do I have to bring my own vase or container?

Nope! Each guest will be given a You-Pick cup, perfect for building a beautiful bouquet to take home.
